Everything absolutely ok here, just a bit busy now Elliot and Jill are back home after a two week holiday with their dad. One gets used that parentship is divided and that you have to miss them, but I still can’t help it feels so much more natural and complete now that the kids are here again!

Zuka is doing ok, not fantastic, but better than I expected him to be within the possibilities. I am watching him too closely maybe, still anxious that his condition would get worse again.
Anyway, we are very, very thankful that we can have him here with us a bit longer and use this precious time to spoil him a bit extra!
Yesterday we went out on a terras for a drink with Zuka and Belle, and guess who decided everything was ok to take a little nap in the sun aswell???

First day Belle saw Elliot and Jill, she just didn’t know what to think of them. Small humanoids that were running around freely in her living room and garden! She was barking at them trying to chase them away,
But after a charm-offensive from their side, she is calm and sweet and enthousiast as she is when she is seeing and greeting us!

Sweet little girl, and that after only two days!!

Endlich wieder einmal BELLA-News:

aber auch die traurige Nachricht, dass Zuka, Ines alter Galgorüde, den Weg über die Regenbogenbrücke gegangen ist

... Shortly after you went on holliday, our Zuka became very, very ill. I watched him every day, knowing that the time to let go was coming…
Luckily we have our sweet little star Belle to brighten the days!! I have to confess I am absolutely crazy about her. She really warms my heart with her sweet and gentle being. She made friends with all of our dogs now and loves to be cuddled and caressed.

In the garden, she seems to have wings, beautiful to watch! Every once in a while, she just comes to get a cuddle, making a high back like a little cat and gently bites my ears.
As far as the chasing instincts, the curtains of the living room can be left open already, since she gave up barking at the cats. I don’t think that she’ll ever make a good match with them, but that doesn’t matter.

We slowly try to get her used to the cats and there is progress
She also got used to Elliot and Jill very fast, and loves to curl op on the couch next to Elliot
Bruno has bought me a little camera, so I will try to get you some nice little films of our princess. Still have to figure out how to put them on youtube, let you know when I’m there!!

Enough about me now, how are you doing? Have you been able to do some walks with the dogs on holiday or has it just been too hot?
And I am curious to know whether you are having/getting a new foster kid in the house?

I have passed your sweet embrace to Belle and gave her a kiss between the ears, telling her that this was from her dear foster-mommie. She looked at me like she understood the message, giving me a kiss back, which I pass hereby to you.
